SANTA CLARA — Tara Chklovski has dedicated much of her career to encouraging young women to tackle some of the world’s most pressing issues through technology. As the founder and CEO of Technovation, an education nonprofit, Chklovski has been a driving force in inspiring girls to use their skills in tech for global impact.
In 2019, Chklovski appeared on the AI Podcast to discuss the AI Family Challenge, and now she returns to share her thoughts on how inclusive AI is making the world not only more equitable but also far more engaging. On this episode of the NVIDIA AI Podcast, Chklovski is joined by Anshita Saini, a Technovation alumna and technical staff member at OpenAI, to discuss how their nonprofit continues to empower girls worldwide through technology education.
The discussion delves into Technovation’s evolution, starting from its early days and progressing to its current focus on teaching AI and problem-solving for real-world challenges. The two also touch on Saini’s journey, which began with developing an app that addressed a vaping crisis at her high school, evolved with her first exposure to AI, and led her to her current work on ChatGPT. Saini also talks about Wiser AI, an initiative she founded to amplify women leaders and other underrepresented voices in AI.

The episode explores how Technovation is laying the groundwork for the next generation of women leaders in AI and technology. Listeners are encouraged to learn more about the opportunity to mentor girls for the 2025 Technovation season and register for NVIDIA GTC, a conference dedicated to the era of AI, taking place March 17-21.
