NEW YORK — Accenture (NYSE: ACN), a global leader in professional services, has unveiled a strategic collaboration with Salesforce, the leading provider of CRM solutions, aimed at turbocharging the deployment of generative artificial intelligence (AI) for customer relationship management (CRM). This groundbreaking partnership seeks to establish a dynamic hub for generative AI, enabling organizations to scale Salesforce’s Einstein GPT AI solution and revolutionize customer experiences.

Bill Patterson, EVP and general manager of C360 Applications at Salesforce, highlighted the transformative potential of generative AI, stating, “Generative AI has enormous potential to transform the way companies interact with customers and drive business growth. Accenture and Salesforce together have years of experience in AI and play a critical role in ensuring customers get the most value from this technology.”

Emma McGuigan, senior managing director and Enterprise & Industry Technologies lead at Accenture, echoed this sentiment, emphasizing the pivotal role of generative AI in reshaping business operations and customer interactions. “Generative AI has the potential to transform work and reinvent business, with large language models impacting up to 40% of all working hours across industries,” McGuigan remarked.

The collaboration will center around an acceleration hub, linked to Accenture’s Generative AI and Large Language Model (LLM) Center of Excellence, facilitating the development of custom AI strategies and accelerators for growth. Senior leaders from Salesforce and Accenture will collaborate closely with clients to devise tailored AI strategies utilizing new accelerators for Einstein GPT, user interfaces, and process automation.

Salesforce and Accenture will also focus on creating innovative use cases for sales and service, harnessing generative AI to enhance seller productivity, streamline customer service interactions, and automate knowledge management processes. Furthermore, the hub will spearhead the development of industry-specific AI models for sectors such as financial services, healthcare, manufacturing, and the public sector.

In addition to technology deployment, the collaboration will emphasize skill development, with the creation of learning resources aimed at empowering teams to leverage generative AI effectively. Areas of focus include programming Einstein GPT, AI literacy, data science, analytics, and ethics in AI.

Salesforce’s Einstein GPT offers a suite of powerful capabilities, empowering companies to streamline operations and deliver personalized, AI-generated content across various business functions. From personalized emails for sales outreach to targeted marketing campaigns and efficient customer service interactions, Einstein GPT is poised to revolutionize customer engagement across industries.
