SANTA CLARA — At the SC24 conference, NVIDIA unveiled the latest innovation in AI for medical imaging with the announcement of new MONAI integration on Siemens Healthineers’ Digital Marketplace. This integration enables seamless delivery of AI-driven solutions to clinical workflows, enhancing the speed and efficiency of deploying AI models for medical imaging predictions.
MONAI, NVIDIA’s open-source platform for AI in healthcare, has already gained significant traction by empowering researchers and healthcare providers to quickly adapt and deploy machine learning models for a variety of applications. With its integration into the Siemens Healthineers Digital Marketplace, healthcare professionals can now access advanced AI models, including those used for high-resolution weathering, ice, snow, and hail forecasting.
The latest version of MONAI, v1.4, expands the capabilities of the platform, introducing models like MAISI and VISTA-3D for medical imaging. MAISI is a high-definition model designed for 3D CT images, while VISTA-3D improves CT segmentation by offering out-of-the-box performance for 120 major organs. In addition, the MONAI Multi-Modal Model, or M3, is now available and integrates seamlessly with radiology models, further enhancing the AI offerings.
Collaborating with renowned research institutions like the German Cancer Research Center and Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center, MONAI’s integration is set to propel AI applications for healthcare. Partnerships with companies like MathWorks, Flywheel, and Kitware, along with cloud services from providers such as AWS HealthImaging, Oracle Cloud, and Google Cloud, ensure that MONAI is accessible to a broad range of users from both academia and industry.
By facilitating a quicker transition from research to real-world application, MONAI is set to revolutionize healthcare workflows, bringing faster, more accurate insights to medical professionals.
