SANTA CLARA — Intel has introduced new advancements in AI infrastructure with the launch of the Xeon 6 processors featuring Performance-cores (P-cores) and the Gaudi 3 AI accelerators. These products are designed to address the growing demand for AI workloads in the data center and across cloud environments, providing greater efficiency, performance, and security.
The Xeon 6 processors offer a substantial performance boost, doubling the capabilities of their predecessors by enhancing core count, memory bandwidth, and incorporating AI acceleration into each core. These improvements make Xeon 6 ideal for AI applications, from edge devices to large-scale data centers. Alongside this, the Gaudi 3 AI accelerator is optimized for deep neural network computations, featuring 64 Tensor Processor Cores (TPCs) and 128 GB of HBM2e memory for large-scale AI models. It supports frameworks like PyTorch and models from Hugging Face, and is already being integrated into AI solutions in collaboration with IBM Cloud.
Intel’s Xeon 6 and Gaudi 3 are designed to offer enterprises a competitive edge in deploying AI at scale, providing flexibility, lower total cost of ownership (TCO), and optimal performance per watt. Intel has partnered with major OEMs such as Dell Technologies and Supermicro to co-engineer solutions that support the deployment of AI workloads. These partnerships enable businesses to move from AI prototypes to production-ready systems, leveraging Intel’s robust x86 infrastructure for scalable deployments.

Intel also continues to support AI growth with its Tiber portfolio, which offers solutions for access, security, efficiency, and scalability in AI, cloud, and edge environments. Intel has made preview systems of Xeon 6 available for evaluation, with plans to roll out Gaudi 3 clusters for large-scale deployments in the coming months. Additionally, Intel is working with SeekrFlow to offer end-to-end AI solutions that incorporate Intel Gaudi software, PyTorch 2.4, and oneAPI tools to drive further AI advancements.
This continued evolution of Intel’s AI capabilities aims to provide enterprises with the tools they need to build high-performance AI systems, helping to drive innovation and transformation across industries.
