BONN — Deutsche Telekom and T-Mobile US have announced the commencement of the fourth edition of the T Challenge, as revealed in a recent press release. The international competition seeks innovative solutions utilizing artificial intelligence (AI) to enhance network management and customer experience, according to a press release published on EuropaWire.
Claudia Nemat, Member of the Board of Management for Technology and Innovation at Deutsche Telekom, underscored the significance of the competition, stating, “Every year, the T Challenge sends a signal for innovative strength. Now we want to use artificial intelligence in an innovative way.” She highlighted the importance of responsible action and expressed curiosity about the creative potential AI offers.
Winners will have the opportunity to further develop their solutions alongside experts from Deutsche Telekom and T-Mobile US. Substantial prize money awaits the top innovators, with the first prize receiving 150,000 euros, the second 75,000 euros, and the third 35,000 euros. Special prizes for sustainability, ethical solutions, and presentation quality are also up for grabs, each endowed with 25,000 euros.

The award ceremony and exhibition of the best-placed submissions are scheduled for June 10 and 11, 2024, at Telekom Bonn headquarters. Finalists will have the chance to showcase their solutions to top management from Deutsche Telekom and T-Mobile US, with travel expenses covered.
