ROSELAND, N.J. and YORKTOWN HEIGHTS, N.Y. — CoreWeave has unveiled plans to deliver one of the first AI supercomputers powered by the NVIDIA GB200 Grace Blackwell Superchip to IBM, marking a significant leap in AI research and development. This groundbreaking supercomputer, equipped with NVIDIA GB200 NVL72 systems and interconnected by NVIDIA Quantum-2 InfiniBand networking, will provide IBM with the computational power needed to train the next generations of its Granite models. These open-source, enterprise-grade AI models are designed to provide unparalleled performance while optimizing safety, speed, and cost-efficiency for enterprise applications.

The supercomputer will also integrate the IBM Storage Scale System, which utilizes NVMe flash technology for high-performance storage, essential for AI, data analytics, and other resource-intensive workloads. As part of the deal, CoreWeave’s customers will have access to IBM’s advanced storage solutions within CoreWeave’s AI cloud platform and dedicated environments.
