ABU DHABI — AMD is excited to announce its pivotal role in the establishment of a state-of-the-art AI data center in Grenoble, France, in partnership with G42, a leading global AI technology group. This groundbreaking facility, which will be operational by mid-2025, will harness the power of AMD Instinct accelerators, providing critical AI compute resources to enterprises, researchers, and innovators throughout France and beyond.

This advanced AI data center is part of a strategic initiative by G42, with its subsidiary Core42, to bolster Europe’s AI infrastructure and enhance computational capacity. By deploying AMD’s cutting-edge GPUs, this partnership strengthens G42’s ability to drive AI innovation, allowing French enterprises to scale sophisticated AI models and applications. The facility is poised to become a central hub for AI research, offering the computational power needed to accelerate breakthroughs in fields ranging from healthcare to automation.

Lisa Su, AMD’s Chair and CEO, shared her excitement about the collaboration: “This partnership with G42 represents a significant milestone in supporting AI innovation across Europe. The AMD Instinct accelerators deployed at this facility will enable local enterprises, start-ups, and researchers to push the boundaries of AI, empowering them to unlock new capabilities. In addition, DataOne, known for its expertise in sustainable and high-performance AI data centers, is working alongside G42 to ensure the success of the project.
