PARIS — Mistral AI and Agence France-Presse (AFP) have announced a groundbreaking collaboration that will bring AFP’s trusted news content to Mistral AI’s Le Chat platform. Starting on January 16, 2025, Le Chat users will benefit from richer, more accurate, and reliable responses, thanks to AFP’s vast, real-time news coverage.
The integration will allow Le Chat to pull from AFP’s comprehensive newswire, which spans across six languages—French, English, Spanish, Portuguese, German, and Arabic—ensuring global access to timely, fact-checked information. AFP’s 1,700 journalists will provide Le Chat with constant updates, ensuring the assistant delivers responses that adhere to the highest journalistic standards.
This collaboration aims to elevate the quality of AI-powered interactions, particularly in enterprises relying on generative AI. By integrating AFP’s content, Mistral AI ensures that its users, whether engaged in research, creative work, or any other task, have access to reliable, up-to-date news.
Mistral AI’s mission of democratizing AI access takes a major step forward with this partnership, adding credibility to Le Chat’s responses and bolstering user confidence in the information they receive.
The AFP integration will be gradually rolled out to all Le Chat users in the upcoming weeks.
