SANTA CLARA — Japanese enterprises are embracing AI transformation through a series of innovative centers and services, utilizing NVIDIA AI Enterprise and Omniverse platforms to drive advancements in industrial and digital AI. Leading consulting firms—Accenture, Deloitte, EY Japan, FPT, Kyndryl, and TCS Japan—are joining forces with NVIDIA to establish cutting-edge innovation centers across Japan, aiming to support the nation’s ambitious goal of integrating AI in various industries.
These centers leverage NVIDIA AI Enterprise software, local language models, and NVIDIA NIM microservices to assist Japanese clients in building AI-powered solutions tailored to specific industry needs, enabling digital workforces that enhance productivity. With the NVIDIA Omniverse platform, firms can now create digital twins and simulate advanced physical AI systems, stimulating innovation across manufacturing, robotics, and more.
Japan faces social and demographic challenges, particularly a shrinking workforce due to an aging population. AI is increasingly seen as a key tool to address these issues. The government outlined its vision in a recent policy paper, aiming for Japan to become the world’s most AI-friendly nation. IDC reports show that Japan’s AI market reached an estimated $5.9 billion this year, growing at an impressive annual rate of 31.2%.
Each consulting firm contributes to Japan’s AI journey with unique initiatives:
- Accenture has launched the Accenture NVIDIA Business Group, delivering Japanese-specific large language model (LLM) solutions powered by NVIDIA NIM and NeMo. Accenture will also roll out agentic AI solutions based on its AI Refinery, aiming for comprehensive enterprise reinvention. Future plans include further innovations at the Accenture Innovation Hub Tokyo.
- Deloitte is setting up its AI Experience Center in Tokyo to showcase generative AI solutions built with NVIDIA technology. The center, building on the Deloitte Japan NVIDIA Practice launched earlier, will feature NVIDIA AI and Omniverse Blueprints, offering clients hands-on insight into AI-driven business transformation.
- EY Japan is designing a range of digital transformation (DX) solutions to support industries like finance, retail, media, and manufacturing. These solutions, based on NVIDIA AI Enterprise, respond to Japan’s demand for digital twins, 3D applications, multimodal AI, and generative AI capabilities.
- FPT is introducing FPT AI Factory in Japan, equipped with NVIDIA Hopper GPUs and NVIDIA AI Enterprise software, to accelerate AI deployment in secure environments. The FPT AI Studio, integrated with NVIDIA NeMo, supports the development of generative AI models, including Saola, FPT’s multi-language LLM. By 2026, FPT aims to train over 1,000 domestic and 7,000 global AI engineers and consultants.
- Kyndryl has unveiled a dedicated AI private cloud in collaboration with Dell Technologies, leveraging the Dell AI Factory with NVIDIA. This controlled and sovereign environment allows clients to test and plan AI implementations using the complete NVIDIA AI platform.
- TCS Japan is rolling out global AI solutions built on NVIDIA’s full stack, focusing on applications in automotive and manufacturing. These solutions will be showcased at TCS Japan’s Azabudai office in Tokyo.
Located in Tokyo and Kansai, these innovation centers offer hands-on access to NVIDIA’s latest AI technologies, fostering accelerated transformation and equipping enterprises to tackle complex societal challenges while contributing to Japan’s economic growth.
