SAN FRANCISCO — DALLĀ·E, the innovative AI system that generates realistic images and art from textual descriptions, is now entering its beta phase. Over the next few weeks, 1 million users from the waitlist will be invited to experience this cutting-edge tool.
Each user will receive 50 free credits for their first month and 15 free credits monthly thereafter. These credits can be used for generating images, making edits, or creating variations of existing images. Additional credits can be purchased in increments of 115 for $15.
DALLĀ·E has already proven to be a powerful tool for artists and creative professionals, enabling the creation of music videos, magazine covers, and other imaginative projects. Key features include the ability to make context-aware edits, generate variations of images, and save creations directly within the platform.
Commercial use of DALLĀ·E-generated images is now permitted, allowing users to reprint, sell, and merchandise their creations. This includes images created during the research preview phase.
To ensure safety and mitigate risks, DALLĀ·E has implemented measures such as rejecting realistic face uploads, enhancing content filters, reducing bias, and maintaining robust monitoring systems. Additionally, artists in need of financial assistance can apply for subsidized access.
With the beta launch, DALLĀ·E aims to revolutionize the creative process and looks forward to user feedback to further refine the platform.
